Ownership of intellectual property
MagicTradeBot ("we," "us," or "our") retains all rights, title, and interest in and to all intellectual property associated with the platform, including but not limited to the following categories:
A. Copyrights

B. Trademarks & brand
- The "MagicTradeBot" name, wordmark, and logo are trademarks of MagicTradeBot and may not be used without our prior written consent.
- Associated product names — including RedisMarketBridge and ArbEdgeBot — are trademarks owned by MagicTradeBot.
- Feature-specific names and terminology used in our platform and documentation are considered brand assets and are protected accordingly.
C. Trade secrets & proprietary methods
- The internal architecture, strategy execution methods, signal processing pipelines, and risk calculation models of MagicTradeBot constitute trade secrets protected under applicable law.
- You agree not to attempt to discover, reverse-engineer, or disclose these proprietary methods through any means.
License grant
Purchasing a MagicTradeBot license grants you a limited set of rights — no more. The following table defines exactly what is and is not permitted:

User-generated content
A. Trading strategies & configurations
- You retain full ownership of any custom trading strategies, YAML configuration files, and parameter sets you create using MagicTradeBot.
- We do not have access to your local configuration or strategy files — they remain on your own server at all times.
- If you voluntarily share strategies or configurations through any MagicTradeBot community channel, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and reference that content for community and promotional purposes.
B. Feedback & feature suggestions
- Any feedback, feature requests, bug reports, or improvement suggestions you submit — via email, support tickets, feedback forms, or any other channel — may be used by MagicTradeBot to improve the platform without obligation of compensation, credit, or attribution.
- Submitting feedback does not grant you any ownership interest in platform features derived from your suggestions.
C. Code contributions
- MagicTradeBot's core codebase is proprietary and closed-source. Unsolicited code submissions are not accepted.
- Any code, scripts, or technical materials voluntarily submitted to MagicTradeBot for integration purposes are assigned to MagicTradeBot and may be used without compensation or attribution unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.
Third-party intellectual property
A. Exchange APIs & data
MagicTradeBot integrates with third-party cryptocurrency exchanges. Those exchanges retain all rights to their APIs, market data feeds, and associated intellectual property. Your use of MagicTradeBot to connect to an exchange is subject to that exchange's own terms of service and API usage policies.
B. Open-source components
MagicTradeBot incorporates a number of open-source libraries and components. These are used in compliance with their respective licences (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, and others). Licence attributions are maintained in the platform's release documentation.
Trademark usage guidelines
When referencing MagicTradeBot in media, publications, reviews, or educational content, the following rules apply:

DMCA & copyright notices
MagicTradeBot respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same in return. If you believe that content on our platform, website, or communications infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice containing:
- Your name, contact information, and a statement of your authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law
- A declaration — under penalty of perjury — that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act
We acknowledge all IP reports within 48 hours and act on valid notices promptly.
Violations & enforcement
A. Actions we may take
Upon discovery of an IP violation we reserve the right to take any or all of the following actions:

Immediate license termination. Without refund for any account found to be in breach of this policy.

DMCA / takedown notices. Issued to hosting providers, app stores, or platforms distributing infringing content.

Civil legal action. Seeking damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal costs for significant infringements such as unauthorised resale or distribution.

Criminal referrals. Where violations constitute criminal IP infringement under applicable law.

Exchange notification. Where manipulation or bot abuse is identified in conjunction with an IP violation.
B. Reporting IP violations
If you discover unauthorised distribution, resale, cracking, or misuse of MagicTradeBot software or brand assets, please report it:
Include in your report:
- URL or location of the infringing content
- Description of the violation
- Any proof of ownership relevant to your claim
- Your contact information
Policy updates
This Intellectual Property Policy is reviewed periodically and updated to reflect changes in the platform, applicable law, or our business. When material changes are made:
- The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page is updated
- Registered users are notified via email for significant changes
- A notice is displayed on the platform dashboard for 30 days
Continued use of MagicTradeBot after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
