Overview
MagicTradeBot operates a day-based license model rather than a recurring subscription. When you purchase a license you are buying a fixed number of days of Pro or Elite access — from 7 days to 60 months — with no recurring charges, no automatic renewals, and no silent billing.

License activation & expiry
A. How licenses work
- After payment confirmation (typically within 3 blockchain confirmations) your license is activated automatically and your account expiry date is extended by the purchased number of days.
- Licenses are tied to your MagicTradeBot account and cannot be transferred, resold, or shared with another user.
- No recurring charges — licenses never auto-renew. You receive an email reminder 7 days and 1 day before expiry.
- License extensions stack cleanly — if you purchase a 30-day extension while 10 days remain, your new expiry is 40 days out.
B. What happens when a license expires

Paid features stop. Pro / Elite engines (DCA, Market Watch, TradingView integration, Whale Tracker, Funding Farming) will stop executing new trades.

Account reverts to Free. Your account automatically downgrades to the Free tier — signal broadcasting and unlimited paper trading continue to work.

Data is preserved. All your configuration files, saved strategies, trade history, and dashboard data remain intact on your local installation.

Instant reactivation. Purchasing any new license duration immediately restores all features — no reconfiguration required.
Refund eligibility
A. General no-refund policy
Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible by design of the blockchain. Once a transaction is confirmed, the funds cannot be automatically returned through any technical mechanism. For this reason:
- All MagicTradeBot license purchases are final at the point of blockchain confirmation
- Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and granted only in narrow exceptional circumstances (see below)
- Where a refund is granted, it is returned as crypto to the original sending wallet address at the same fiat-equivalent value less any network fees and volatility adjustment
B. Possible exceptions
Refund requests may be considered — at our sole discretion — under the following narrow circumstances:

C. Scenarios that do not qualify
The following do not qualify for refund under any circumstances:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Trading losses incurred while using the platform
- Failure to set up the bot correctly or misconfiguration of strategies, risk parameters, or API keys
- Inadequate server resources, network outages, or OS issues on your self-hosted infrastructure
- Third-party issues — exchange API outages, rate limits, or policy changes by connected exchanges
- Account suspension or termination resulting from AUP violations
- Partial usage of the license period (pro-rated refunds are not available)
- Disagreement with cryptocurrency price movements between purchase and refund evaluation
How to request a refund
If you believe your situation meets one of the exception criteria above, submit a refund request within 7 days of the original purchase:
Include the following in your request:
- Your account email address
- Proof of payment — transaction hash and invoice / receipt
- License key (found in your account dashboard)
- Detailed description of the issue and which exception category it falls under (Section 3B)
- Supporting evidence — screenshots, logs, videos, or any other relevant documentation
Incomplete submissions (missing TxHash, unclear issue description, or no supporting evidence) will be returned with a request for additional information. The 7-day submission window does not restart — we recommend gathering all documentation before sending.
Cancellation
Because MagicTradeBot uses a day-based license rather than a subscription, there is nothing to "cancel" in the traditional sense:

No recurring billing. You are only ever charged when you actively purchase a license extension.

No cancellation required. Your license simply expires at the end of its term and your account reverts to Free.

Uninstalling the bot. Because the platform is self-hosted, you can remove the MagicTradeBot binary and local files from your server at any time.

Account deletion. To delete your MagicTradeBot account and associated personal data, contact us per the Privacy Policy.
Recommendations before purchase
To ensure the product fits your needs before committing a license fee, we recommend the following sequence:

Dispute resolution
If your refund request is declined and you believe the decision was incorrect, you may escalate:
- Submit a written appeal to sales@magictradebot.com with
REFUND APPEALin the subject line within 14 days of the initial decision - Include any additional evidence or context not available at the time of the original request
- Appeals are reviewed by a senior team member independent of the original decision and are typically resolved within 7 business days
- Governing law and dispute resolution terms are set out in our Terms of Service (Section 14, Governing Law & Disputes)
Chargebacks & disputes
As we accept only cryptocurrency payments via NowPayments, traditional chargeback mechanisms (Visa, Mastercard disputes) do not apply to MagicTradeBot purchases. Any attempt to initiate a fraudulent dispute or payment reversal — including on the crypto on-ramp service through which payment was funded — may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your license
- Forfeiture of any remaining license period
- Reporting to relevant authorities or payment processors in cases of suspected fraud
We strongly encourage any billing concern to be raised with us directly before initiating any third-party dispute process.
Policy updates
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect changes in our services, payment gateway arrangements, or regulatory obligations. When material changes are made we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify registered users via email for significant changes
- Display a notice on the platform dashboard for 30 days
Purchases made after changes are published are governed by the updated policy. Purchases made before changes remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
